COACHELLA VALLEY MSHCP – Outreach & Education
The Coachella Valley Multiple Species Habitat Conservation Plan (CVMSHCP) balances conservation and development in the Coachella Valley.
The Coachella Valley Association of Governments chose Kay Hazen and Company to help develop an outreach and education plan to insure that the scope, depth and importance of the CVMSHCP was clearly defined and communicated on a very personal level to stakeholders. The firm worked with a public relations firm outside the area to successfully generate awareness, encourage participation and create an informed public regarding the habitat conservation plan.
